Hero-NXT
The Hero-NXT is the first special purpose car seat available in Australia that complies with the newer European regulation - ECE r129.
It is suitable for children from birth to approximately four years of age, and can be used rearward facing (from 40-105 cm) and forward facing (from 76-105 cm), with a maximum weight limit of 18 kg.
It comes standard with swivel base, rotating 90°, 180° and 360°, and 10° tilt in space, and lateral supports.
The Hero-NXT has an optional accessory support tray.
It is installed using ISOFIX only (no option for installing with vehicle seatbelt) and uses a support leg (foot prop) instead of a top tether strap, in accordance with ECE r129.
NOTE: The Hero-NXT is not an Australian Britax Childcare Pty Ltd product. The Hero-NXT is a Hernik GmbH (German company) special purpose car seat, imported into Australia by Medifab.
Hernik GmbH uses a Britax Romer (European) standard product and has adapted it for use as a special purpose car seat.

The Hero-NXT is a special purpose car seat designed to keep children with disabilities and medical conditions safe and comfortable when travelling. These car seats are an option when a standard Australian car seat doesn’t meet your child’s needs.
The Hero-NXT is available from specialist disability product suppliers, and there are specific legal and safety requirements you’ll need to follow when using it in your vehicle.
