Governance
AuSAP’s governance structure supports effective program outcomes
Expert Committee
MACA’s governance model for AuSAP was developed through extensive consultation with stakeholders across the disability, health, transport, and road safety sectors. It is designed to balance technical integrity with responsiveness to community needs.
MACA provides overall leadership and is responsible for program objectives, coordination, promotion, monitoring, evaluation, and long-term sustainability.
AuSAP is supported by an Expert Technical Committee, comprising leading researchers and child restraint specialists. The Committee sets and reviews protocols, monitors testing and assessments and reviews results.
