AuSAP FAQs

The leading global assessment program for vehicle restraint systems used by children and adults with disabilities and medical conditions
Established in 2020, the Australian Safety Assessment Program (AuSAP) is located in Melbourne, Australia, and is the first program to independently assess (including sled crash testing) the specialty restraint systems used by children and adults with disabilities and medical conditions when travelling in motor vehicles.
Specific focus on developing safer options for children with disabilities or medical conditions, to travel safely in vehicles is long overdue. It's very exciting to see these new initiatives and collaborations with MACA
